About the Training

Faith and cultural traditions can play an important role in how families experience pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. For Catholic families, religious beliefs, spiritual practices, and connections to their faith communities may influence their preferences, healthcare experiences, and support needs.

Coaching Salud Holística, LLC invites doulas, birthworkers, and maternal health professionals to participate in Supporting Catholic Families, a seven-week virtual professional development series exploring the intersection of Catholic faith, cultural traditions, maternal healthcare, and compassionate birth support.

This training is designed to help birthworkers better understand Catholic traditions and provide respectful, culturally responsive, faith-informed care while maintaining professional boundaries and honoring each family's individual beliefs and choices.

You do not need to be Catholic to participate. This training welcomes professionals of all religious backgrounds who want to strengthen their ability to support Catholic clients and families.
