Folklórico for Wellness Program

Launched in 2024, our Folklórico for Wellness program creatively blends Latino cultural expression with physical activity and mental well-being for youth. Recognizing the need for culturally relevant wellness programs, we introduced Folklórico dance classes for all ages as a joyful way to promote:

• Physical fitness

• Emotional wellness

• Confi dence building

• Cultural identity and pride​

Several schools across Prince George’s County have partnered with us to bring this initiative to their communities. By incorporating traditional dance into health promotion, we foster a sense of belonging, movement, and celebration rooted in culture.

Resource Fairs & Health Fairs

Coaching Salud Holística (CSH) has organized and co-hosted multiple health and resource fairs across Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and Anne Arundel County, serving thousands of families, with a strong focus on Latino and Hispanic populations.
These events off er access to:

• Free health screenings

• Wellness education

• Community resources

• Bilingual information booths

Our team remains actively connected to participants through webinars, WhatsApp groups, social media, and ongoing engagement even after the events.

Hispanic Heritage Events

We are proud to organize Hispanic Heritage celebrations that uplift and honor the vibrant culture and traditions of the Hispanic and Latino community.

 

These large-scale community events feature:

• Live music and dance

• Cultural performances

• Traditional games like Lotería

• Interactive family activities

 

By celebrating cultural heritage in a festive, inclusive setting, we foster cultural pride, connection, and intergenerational joy.

Doula Support

​Since 2022, Coaching Salud Holística has provided bilingual and culturally sensitive doula services to support expectant parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
Our services are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and include:

• Emotional and physical support

• Birth education and preparation

• Postpartum wellness guidance

• Inclusive care for diverse family structures

 

Our trained, compassionate doulas create nurturing environments that promote holistic wellness and positive birth experiences.
