Latino Resource Fair

CSH co-organized a Latino Resource Fair to serve Prince George's County residents with the Town of Edmonston and Greater Riverdale Thrives. The event held 30 vendors will table the event, a stage, food distribution and the fair served over 400 community members from Prince George's County.
Global Health and Education Projects

Community Health Worker Job Securement Training

Coaching Salud Holistica trained 20 community health workers in Spanish on resumes, interview skills, and LinkedIn usage. This session was provided in Spanish over zoom.
Latino CHW Event

CSH is co-organizing the second Latino CHW event in Maryland with the City of Annapolis, Maryland Latinos Unidos, Umaña Public Health Solutions, LLC., and Luminis Health. This event will be held at Belcher Pavilion- Luminus Health on June 30, 2023.

Pregnancy Education Series

CSH will conduct a 10 week, 2 hour, in Spanish webinar series to promote maternal health and wellbeing through health workshops, resource referrals, and partner with 15 service providers to bridge access to community resources in Montgomery County and Prince George's County.
Latino Cultural Humility Training
AUG 2023
Training covered the self identification and terminology, trends in the United States regarding the Latino community, impacts on the community from COVID-19, common social barriers, beliefs and practices in the community, and more. CSH trained 100 community partners, school staff, and community workers took this live training.
Community Baby Shower
SEPT 2023
CSH co-organized a community baby shower with Metamorphosis Community Project and Global Health and Education Projects in Riverdale, Maryland. This event served 50 pregnant people.
University of Maryland Medical System

CSH trained staff on How to Access Health Care Resources in Montgomery and Prince George and Mental Health First Aid for Adults working with Adults. CSH trained 25 staff members.
Latino Resource Fair

CSH organized a Latino Resource Fair to serve Montgomery County residents. Over 30 vendors/community partners attended the event and 250 community members were served with resources and fresh produce.
